I think it's not a problem in the nvidia packages.

I had the same problem...it was something introduced in one of the latests
versions of make.

This attached quick patch fixed it for me...

This should probably be reassinged to one of the kernel-headers packages,
for example 'linux-headers-3.0.0-1-amd64'
