No, especially not if it's no longer reproducible.

Version of nvidia-glx and xserver-xorg-core would have been interesting.
Your xorg.conf, too.

Xorg.log or Xorg.0.log may have had some interesting information, too.
Ist the frozen machine still reachable via network? e.g. ssh.

So you are now running squeeze with nvidia 195.xx driver?
If you want to keep this working setup I'll have to close this report as
unreproducible as I don't know how to reproduce and debug your problem.
Could this be a heat issue?
