NVIDIA has not yet updated the 173xx legacy driver to work with the new
Xorg Xserver 1.11.0 that is available in the xserver-xorg-core package
in unstable (and provides xorg-video-abi-11, only). (And the current
driver 275.xx that was updated for Xserver 1.11 is unusable with 1.11 ...)

Please use the Xorg packages from testing (1.10.x etc.) if you want to
continue using the non-free nvidia driver.

You should post in their forum that you would like to see the legacy
drivers updated for the new Xserver:

(If you do this. please post a link to a forum thread to this Debian bug
report, so that others may follow progress.)
