Thanks for working on this.
Tested on 64-bit (mostly unstable) Debian with 3.2.6 kernel
and 295.20-1 drivers on ION (GeForce 9400M) hardware)
OpenCL works OK with latest CUDA toolkit packages (more details
in my other email), CUDA requires additional files to work.

In summary, NVIDIA has changed CUDA compiler to use LLVM,
but this was only done for new hardware (Fermi), while
other still uses older compiler. This means that nvcc requires
additional files. CUDA SDK compilation failed requiring cicc.
I have found it in toolkit in directory nvvm/ After copying
all files from nvvm/ (cicc and ci_include.h)
into /usr/lib/nvidia-cuda-toolkit both CUDA SDK and PyCUDA
compile and work without problem. I have just copied those
two files, have not created any symlinks, etc.

As a sidenote, it looks like 295.20 is already prepared
for CUDA 4.2, as deviceQuery tool returns:
Driver Version 4.2
Runtime Version 4.1

Best regards.
