In that case, have you tried the legacy-173xx driver? That should be
sufficient for that card. I uploaded a new version recently that
(supposedly) adds support for newer Xorg and (verified) builds with
recent kernels. A backport is already on its way ...
Installing nvidia-glx-legacy-173xx 173.14.34-1 from wheezy in
squeeze+backports only requires the installation of multiarch-support
from wheezy, no further dependencies.
