'Fraid not. I did a full clean out just after submitting the bug report
update. I'll monitor things and see if I can get it to do the same again
and report in when in happens – though on the other bug report as noted
above.

I have installed the 302.11 stuff from experimental replacing all the
295.59 stuff from stable. Fairly quickly got the X termination and GDM3
restart.  Didn't get GDM3 havoc though.

I am rapidly pinning hopes on getting the workstation working usably
again by getting in a second (newer) graphics card so as to be able to
use the current one as an OpenCL/CUDE execution card.
