Bug#661253: Trying 295.33

Using the Debian 295.33 packages with a fully updated Debian Stable,
GNOME 3 will not start, I just get the "Oh no" screen and am forced to
log out. I removed all the 295.33 Debian packages and reinstalled the
NVIDIA run file and got the same behaviour. So now, to use a
colloquialism, I am completely buggered: my machine is now completely
unusable with GNOME3 -- not because of random X terminations, but
because GNOME 3 does not work at all. I guess this justifies raising
the priority of this?

I am now away till Wednesday.
