Bug#684952: Starting X causes blank screen with rt kernel

I'm using an nVidia GeForce 7950GTX. After installing nvidia-glx and
rebooting, I'm presented with a blank screen when X starts.

The blank screen is in fact, turned off. Keyboard is unresponsive, but
there is still a little hard drive activity. No choice but to hard
reset.

My problem lies in the real time kernel. If I use the non-rt kernel,
all is well.
