But you still managed to run reportbug from the commend line, so it
collected enough information for me to analyze your problem.

The nvidia alternative points to the current driver, not the legacy one:
remove the nvidia-settings package, the correct one for you is
nvidia-settings-legacy-304xx (already installed)
(if some parts of the "current" driver are installed, they take
precedence over th elegacy driver)

problematic, but delete the files+links anyway:
