Bug#696839: Same Issue - Nvidia 313.18 do not support my GeForce 7600 GT

I trapped into the same issue after upgrading from squeeze to wheezy. Also 
there is a huge 3D performance regression.

I've tried 313.18 from experimental, but my GPU is not supported anymore by 
313.18 and it fails to load the kernel modul.

nvidia-glx (195.36.31) from squeeze had no issues. What else can I try?
