Yes, but only after wheezy was released.
Rough roadmap:
* ngd: drop transitional packages (*-ia32 etc)
* ngd: add new packages (nvidia-cuda-proxy)
* use improved blacklist handling (currently nvidia-support and
glx-alternatives in experimental)
* maybe rename some packages for consistency - there is at least one
bug about this (e.g. I'm considering to rename the metapackage
nvidia-glx -> nvidia-driver)
* make nvidia-settings* co-installable and put them under the
alternatives umbrella (there are bugs with patches)
* forward these changes to the legacy drivers
* upload new legacy 173xx release
* drop 71xx legacy
* upload new 304xx releases if available
* get all packages into testing
* get all packages into wheezy-backports
* probably add nvidia-settings 304-legacy
* fork 304-legacy, let it take the libxvmcnvidia1 package
* upload new releases to sid
* get 304-legacy and new upstream releases into testing and backports
This will take some time.

PS: if there is need for 310 releases (the current long lived branch) I
can put packages somewhere - experimental already has 313 (short lived
branch)
