Thanks, I'll look carefully at this.  I think that building without libcuda
being present may be useful (at least for Ubuntu) if we ever want to
backport a newer nvidia-cuda-toolkit to an LTS (where the shipping
'nvidia-current' driver might not support the newer CUDA, but an
'experimental' driver which later became stable, does).

Russ, Andreas: Should we be providing an 'opencl-icd' virtual package in
the graphics drivers in Ubuntu as well?
It is a dependency of python-opencl.
