NVIDIA application profile database

Hi guys,

Hope this is the right alias; NVIDIA has (relatively recently) added an
application profile engine to their driver. They ship a default settings
database with each driver release that contains workaround for known
buggy application and other tweaks. For instance, not having it makes
Gnome3 unusable because older versions of cogl rely on non-conformant
behavior for framebuffer blits, which the profiles database knows about
and accounts for.

That settings database doesn't appear to currently be packaged or
installed by any of the binary packages in nvidia-graphics-driver,
unless I'm overlooking something, which is very possible. Is it
something you guys are already looking into?

Thanks for your time,
  - Pierre-Loup
