Not start bumblebeed when no optimus system

Hi!
I'm building a Debian Live system (with KDE) and also want to support Optimus
systems ... when that's available.
When I try the built image on my PC, with nvidia card, KDM/Xorg isn't started
because it couldn't find a screen (and thus $DISPLAY was not set).
Stopping the bumblebeed service and 'modprobe nvidia-current' and then
restarting KDM showed the KDE GUI.
Is it possible to integrate bumblebee into a live system in such a way that it
only works when it's run on an Optimus system?
Cheers,
Diederik
