Package: src:libvdpau
Version: 1.1.1-1
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
the libva source package provides a va-driver-all meta package which is
loosely modeled after the xserver-xorg-{input,video}-all packages. [0]
It works like this:
* libva1 recommends va-driver-all | va-driver, the latter being a
virtual package which is provided by all VA drivers
* va-driver-all depends on all free VA drivers (i965-va-driver, vdpau
-va-driver) and suggests the non-free drivers (xvba-va-driver)
It would be great if libvdpau could provide a similar vdpau-driver-all
package which could roughly look like this:
* libvdpau1 recommends vdpau-driver-all | vdpau-driver, the latter
being a virtual package which is provided by all VDPAU drivers
* vdpau-driver-all depends on all free VA drivers (libvdpau-va-gl1,
mesa-vdpau-drivers) and suggests the non-free drivers (nvidia-vdpau
-driver, nvidia-legacy-340xx-vdpau-driver)
Best regards
Alexander Kurtz
