Yep it's tricky, as the real dependency is actually the other way
around, with libglx-nvidia0 that depends on libgl1-nvidia-glx:
$ ldd /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/nvidia/current/libGLX_nvidia.so.0
linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007ffed4c25000)
libnvidia-tls.so.364.12 => /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/tls/libnvidia-tls.so.364.12 (0x00007f98240f9000)
libnvidia-glcore.so.364.12 => /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnvidia-glcore.so.364.12 (0x00007f98223d1000)
(-glcore is in libgl1-nvidia-glx)
libglx-nvidia0 is already a dependency of the top-level metapackage nvidia-driver, but obviously the amd64 one cannot depend on the i386 library.

Indeed, it's very much appreciated!
