nvidia-legacy-YYYxx branches and merges workflow

Hello,

I've been meaning to ask this for a while. Is the exact workflow that we
follow for merging from n-g-d/trunk and n-g-d/branches/340 or
n-g-d/branches/304 to legacy-YYYxx documented somewhere?

I've held back from doing any merges till now because personally I've
not done many SVN merges before, so I'd feel much more confident if
there were guidelines I could follow and help with that too without
making too much of a mess :-)
