Hi,

As per my other message, I cannot reproduce in a clean chroot, so same
questions:

After the apt-get remove, are you sure there was no leftover? Have you
checked with dpkg -l? What version of the driver did you have installed
before?

If you can help me reproduce the problem I can try to find a solution.
