Now that the list of bugs got significantly shorter, can you take a look
at what's remaining?

I vaguely remember that this error is a false positive:

  (EE) systemd-logind: failed to get session: PID xxx does not belong to
any known session

because it also occurs if everything is running properly. It should
probably be documented somewhere to prevent people from investigating
that red herring if something else is amiss.
