Not sure, but I can reproduce easily on my jessie box:

$ sudo apt-get install -t jessie-backports nvidia-kernel-source
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree       
Reading state information... Done

Pushed a fix to the 352-jessie-backports branch. Do we have other fixes pending?
