Yes, I've missed the change you see in the commit as it's exposed only
on the CI, given it uses an i386 installation with amd64 kernel.

I have not tested the legacy packages, given they are in contrib they
don't get tested by the CI so they would have to be maintained and
checked manually.

I assume the same patch and change apply though. Do you think it's
worth updating them?

I have not for the same reason, they are not covered by the CI.
I can give them a run with the local pbuilder repro script at some
point:
