Just to verify: if you downgrade libc6 to 2.24-11+deb9u1 everything is
working properly again?

My guess is that it is not related to the nvidia driver at all (except
for utilizing a certain code path in glibc), but to your CPU and the
optimized glibc routines used for it ...

So try touching the file /etc/ld.so.nohwcap - hopefully glibc will stop
using any optimized code for your cpu. If this works (and the glx module
works agian afterwards), we are moving into the right direction.
