This usually means the out-of-tree module and the kernel have a
different idea regarding the ABI.
The latest kernel update didn't bump the ABI version, but I think there
were some changes, and this might be the cause

Please try to reinstall the latest version of the driver and report
back, and they should work.

Next time, use dkms to remove the module and rebuild it:

sudo dkms remove nvidia-current/3xx.xx -k x.y.z
sudo dkms install nvidia-currentx/3xx.xx -k x.y.z
