Unfortunate not, sorry, let me clarify: I can confirm that as far as I could see the suggested change didn't break anything.

But the only vulkan game I have, DotA 2, does not show the reported behaviour with the current state of affairs.

I assume there's something the new games are doing that is different, Alex mentioned loading both opengl and vulkan.
