GT 1030 and nvidia-driver version

Hi,

I get a nvidia GT 1030 which seems more recent than I expect and it does
not work with current jessie-backports/stretch and unstable package
versions.

Are you going to release a new version soon or do you have some
experimental/testing with more recent version?

In case I have to install it directly from nvidia binary, should I
remove first the deb packages?
