Bug#879030: 375.82-5: glxgears segmentation fault in glXCreateContext

Since nobody else has sent an update to this bug yet, I can confirm
that, after removing any nvidia-specific glvnd packages, a normal apt
upgrade of nvidia-driver to 365.82-5 resulted in primus working
correctly, as expected. My nvidia-driver has since gone through
further updates (currently at 375.82-8) with no issues.
