That's weird, it fails to install libgl1-nvidia-glx as an alternative
dependency (that it recognises) but it does it just fine installed by
itself.

Have you tried to install both nvidia-driver-libs and nvidia-driver-
libs:i386 ? Maybe it's due to multiarch
