No need to purge many packages - just removing libgl1-nvidia-glx[:i386] 
and nvidia-driver-libs[:i386] and trying to reinstall just nvidia-
driver-libs and nvidia-driver-libs:i386 is enough. The theory is that
they should bring in the gl packages. Thanks!
