Package: nvidia-kernel-dkms
Version: 418.74-1

Machine is an AMD Ryzen 3600 with a GTX1660Ti installed. Clean installed buster from netinst 10.1. Upon reboot console locks up before logon prompt. I assume because Nouveau driver doesn't known what a GTX1660Ti is, there is an "unknown chipset" message from nouveau in the initial messages.

No matter I can ssh into the machine and install nvidia-kernel-dkms and then reboot it. After reboot screen comes up in 1024x768 resolution. Attempts to change it via the Mate control panel show only 1024x768 as resolution - No other resolutions are listed. The Monitor does 1680x1050 and has worked under stretch in that mode.

Machine has had a BIOS update that gave it the AGESA 1.0.0.3 ABBA version which disables the RDRAND function.I think it was disabled with the ABB version.

I also tried installed the 430.50 driver from bullseye along with linux-image-amd64 from buster-backports. That gave the same result,
