>From my limited knowledge and digging into some package files, the nvidia-legacy-340xx-kernel-dkms package would need to be rebuilt to include the .patch file from AUR and a reference to this .patch file in dkms.conf. Unfortunately I don't know how to submit a merge request at https://salsa.debian.org/nvidia-team/nvidia-graphics-drivers for review and to trigger package rebuilds.
