Bullseye will not ship with the legacy 340 driver which is End-of-Life
upstream for more than a year now. It is most likely accumulating
security bugs that are never going to be fixed.
That driver will also never appear in buster-backports (because to be a
candidate for backports it would have to go back to testing).
We may keep the driver in sid (or experimental) and may even update it
for supporting newer kernels if someone digs out patches from other
distros or writes them. Unless some major changes happen in sid
elsewhere, the packages are expected to stay installable in bullseye
(but that is not being tested). And the packages from buster-backports
are probably usable in bullseye, too.
