Do you know what corrupted your header installation?
It may happen again ...
Do you use some "weird third party software" that could to this,
probably another kernel module.
I don't think it is the nvidia driver since I've never seen such
behavior while testing the kernel module build.
(But I vaguely remember some other *-dkms packages breaking the build of
subsequently installed kernel modules, but these should be all fixed on
bullseye and beyond).
