debian ci autopkgtest failures building the modules on armhf

Hi Luca,

with some of my patches being applied to autodep8 and dkms, we now have 
working superficial autopkgtests that try to compile the kernel modules.

This causes regressions on armhf, but I cannot reproduce these failures 
in my armhf chroots (using qemu-user-static).

The problem starts here:

  CONFTEST macros.h:
#error INIT_WORK() conftest failed!

(There are more similar failures. This probably means that the conftest 
compilation failed for some other reason...)

Do you have an idea how to reproduce that failure in order to fix it?
