At least I couldn't reproduce that error. Will try again once the whole 
nvidia stack is at 535 in sid (and bookworm-pu) and a first 545 driver 
package is in sid without corresponding nvidia-settings version.

This should have nothing to do with building the modules (which can only 
happen after installation succeeded).
