I only have Debian stable APT entries on my laptop and nobody mentioned
here in the bug report that it was fixed in sid, so I had no idea.
FWIW, I did not dig for patches on the internet myself, I just gave a
try to the workaround someone else proposed on this bug report (thank
you!), as it seemed promising.
