The plan for CUDA >= 12.4 after the stable release?

Hi anbe,

CUDA 12.4 marks ppc64el as deprecated:
https://docs.nvidia.com/cuda/archive/12.4.0/cuda-toolkit-release-notes/index.html#deprecated-architectures
And CUDA 12.6 has no ppc64el at all:
https://docs.nvidia.com/cuda/archive/12.6.3/cuda-toolkit-release-notes/index.html

What is your future plan for the CUDA toolkit?

My guess is that we will stay at CUDA 12.2 for the upcoming stable release.
After the stable release we can upgrade to later CUDA versions.

If my guess is correct, I will start to gradually remove the ppc64el
architecture from packages maintained by me, including my packages
relying on CUDA, and other nvidia related packages like nvidia-cudnn.

Thank you!
