this is an issue in dkms (some kind of corruption in the dkms internal
state [remove finds nothing to remove, but add finds something is
already there]). I hoped to fix this in the recent upload (it should at
least no longer happen that dkms creates this broken state), but cleanup
of already existing breakage was obviously insufficient.
In case you didn't try fixing this manually, please send me the output of
dkms status nvidia-current
find /var/lib/dkms/nvidia-current -ls
(try not to get it line-wrapped)
