Dear maintainer,

I am using xfce4 with the nvidia-driver.

After upgrade from debian 12 to debian 13, I encountered the same problem:
the system does not resume properly: the system wakes up but the screen stays black,
keyboard is unresponsive and system does not reply to ping.

I similarly tried with the nouveau driver: it also solved the suspend/resume problem.
However, the nouveau driver has problems making it not usable: (system crash, wrongly
drawing things e.g. in firefox.

I found that doing:
  sudo systemctl disable nvidia-suspend.service
  sudo systemctl disable nvidia-hibernate.service
  sudo systemctl disable nvidia-resume.service
solves the problem.

I am not too sure what the below implies (e.g. is the GPU really powered down ?)
but at least with the above, I could successfully suspend and resume several times.

Philippe
