You need to upgrade the full nvidia stack to 535.216.01-1~deb12u1, you
cannot (partially) downgrade to the ancient version which is no longer
available.

Are your package sources up-to-date?
==> apt-get update

Upgrade the machine:
==> apt-get dist-upgrade

If that doesn't work, send the error messages and the output of

apt-cache policy nvidia-driver
apt-cache policy nvidia-firmware-gsp

(You can also use the equivalent apt commands instead of apt-get)
