Bug#1081302: I believe new release could help me as well

FWIW, ATM my laptop is difficult to use while traveling since I cannot
suspend -- the system freezes upon resume or switching from text virtual
terminals. I believe it could potentially be assisted with new
releases which I was told have better support for modeset=1 mode (ATM
haunted by another issue).
