I was hoping to add some extra functionality (such as direct querying
of specific device info and/or specific platforms and/or specific
devices), but I won't have enough time to work on them in the upcoming
months. I've thus tagged a released and pushed to github.

FWIW, the version scheme is: <supported OpenCL major>.<supported
OpenCL minor>.<yy>.<mm>.<dd>. IIRC you suggested switching to a
4-digit year, but honestly I find it heavy enough as-is (I know it
seems that the OpenCL versions followed by the two-digit year look
like a 2015 with extra dots, but that'll change as soon as OpenCL 2.1
is released, which _should_ happen before 2100 ;-)).
