Sorry for resurrecting really old thread, but I've been
working on PyOpenCL (mostly related to transitions, but not only).

Currently we have 3 free and 2 non-free OpenCL providers.
Non-free ones are built for amd64 and i386.
Free:
1. Mesa for amd64, i386, armhf
2. pocl for amd64 and kfreebsd-amd64
3. beignet for amd64, i386, kfreebsd-amd64, and kfreebsd-i386.

I'm thinking about adding kfreebsd-* and armhf to PyOpenCL
architectures so it can be used everywhere where Debian
provides at least one working OpenCL provider.
Another solution would be to set architecture to "any", but this would
mean that PyOpenCL is available (needs to be built, takes space
on servers, etc.) on architectures where it cannot be used.

Any comments?

Best regards.
