Sorry for the lack of activity here - internal review of this took
much longer than I expected. This change has now been pushed to the
Khronos public GitHub (for OpenCL 1.2, 2.0 and 2.1):

The khronos-opencl-headers package hasn't yet been updated to use the
GitHub repository as the upstream sources, so if an urgent fix is
required it may be best to simply patch the header for now as Vincent
proposed.
