That patch was originally for upstream clFFT (as per instructions in 
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100639#c15 ), but I just 
tried it on packaged clfft and it does apply cleanly.  (It's the test 
program, *not* an additional fix for beignet.)

You need to turn on -DBUILD_EXAMPLES in debian/rules to get the examples 
built, and they then end up as 
clfft-2.12.2/debian/tmp/usr/share/clFFT/examples/fft1d and not in any of 
the resulting .debs, but they should be runnable from there.
