pocl does work in a qemu-arm64, i386 or amd64 chroot on the same system 
(i.e. it's _not_ simply broken in qemu), but fails with the same message 
on qemu-armel.  My base system is stable, all these chroots are sid.

There's nothing immediately obvious wrong with it, but that's not proof.
