Hi. It may interest the list that ROCm packages have enabled OpenCL
support with rocm-opencl-icd. It should cover newer AMD GPUs. At
least the gfx1032 and gfx1036 on my computer were unsupported with
current mesa-opencl-icd.
More specifically it was introduced in rocm-hipamd version 5.7.1-4,
uploaded yesterday. It got through NEW already.
One known issue with it is that it doesn't like coexisting
mesa-opencl-icd or pocl-opencl-icd. Having either available will
cause OpenCL programs fail with an LLVM double initialization bug. I
didn't investigate it deeper at this time but if someone wonders why
it comes with a Breaks field on those.
