to the debian/TODO.  Yes, use of db_input for displaying error messages is
perfectly ok in a postinst; it's arguably the *only* valid use of debconf
notes.  Do you want to add a lintian override for this, or can this comment
be removed from the TODO?

Also, note that debconf is *always* available by the time the postinst runs,
because it's a dependency of slapd; so if there are any instances of cat
being used just for this reason, they ought to be removed.
