One thing I'd recommend for the debian package (if this isn't being done
already, but I believe it isn't) is to start making the modules dynamically
loadable rather than all built into slapd. It cuts down on the size of the
running daemon, and it allows people to load in only those overlays and
backends that they want to use.
--enable-backends=mod
--enable-overlays=mod
allows this to be done.
