[Pkg-openldap-devel] Bug#381153: openldap and libnss-ldap

Hello,

I understand this is a bug in libnss-ldap, but i was wondering what will
happen with sarge boxes that need to authenticate to an etch slapd?

I encountered this bug using a sarge system (libnss-ldap 238-1) that
authenticates to an etch server (slapd 2.3.27-1). Downgrading back to
2.2.26 solved the issue.

If sarge boxes are going to need a libnss-ldap backport it should
probably be mentioned in slapd's README.Debian.
