It is possible I've misread the bug. The machine hosting slapd has only
local users, so an upgrade with useradd works without problems in my case.

The problem starts manifesting on the sarge machines right after the
upgrade.
getent passwd freezes
ls -al freezes
anything basically using libnss-ldap freezes

ldapsearch works ok though.


Should i file a new bug?
